Antelope Audio announces the availability of its new products Discrete 8, Discrete 4, Edge and Verse.
Discrete 8 is an audio interface with USB and Thunderbolt connectivity with 8 discrete circuit microphones preamps in rack format. It offers a dynamic range of 121dBs and a fourth-generation AFC 64-bit clock. It also includes Real-time FPGA FX and AFX technology from Antelope Audio.
Discrete 4, by the way, is an interface that offers the same connectivity but with 4 discrete mic preamps and desktop format.
Both devices reach their maximum performance in combination with the new modeling mics of Antelope Audio: Edge and Verge that have been designed to work exclusively with the architecture of the predecessors of Discrete 4 and 8.
Edge microphone modeling includes: Berlin 47 FT, Berlin 67, Berlin 87 and Tokyo 800T. Verge, on the other hand, uses a small diaphragm condenser and will soon have own available models,
The price of Discrete 8 ranges between € 1295 and € 1995, and Discrete 4 between € 899 and € 1399 depending on the desired configuration.
