str012 – ‘Rebuilding l’Alt Empord\u00e0<\/a>‘ is the 12th St\u00f6rung<\/a> release that features 20 exclusive sound pieces by 20 of the most representative artists of the sound art scene.
\nThe purpose of this release is to raise funds to help on the reconstruction of the affected rural areas due to the devastating effects of a tornado on the 7th of January, 2018, in the region of Alt Empord\u00e0 in Catalonia.
\nThe affected area is closely linked to St\u00f6rung, as many projects have been developed there which were later released by the platform or other means into de sonic and visual art world.<\/p>\n
