It has a host of features to get the best out of any mic, and a wealth of digital output options to make interfacing to your recorder or DAW easy.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s got these main features:<br \/>\n&#8211; 2 independent mic pre channels with 1dB gain steps from 12 to 72dB<br \/>\n&#8211; Mic, line and unbalanced line inputs<br \/>\n&#8211; Low noise at all gains for a velvety background<br \/>\n&#8211; Precision phantom power to make sure any mic works properly<br \/>\n&#8211; Hi\/Lo input impedance settings for modern and vintage mics<br \/>\n&#8211; Phase reverse for easy mic placement<br \/>\n&#8211; High current ouput stages drive long lengths of cable cleanly<br \/>\n&#8211; Local and full remote control<br \/>\n&#8211; Optional precision ADC, for optical, coax and balanced digital audio out.<\/p>\n<p>All of these elements are digitally controlled and integrated to reduce the audio path to a minimum, but still retain great usability.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Paintpot was our first product, so called because it resembles a big can of paint.
