Eventide announces its entry into the Eurorack system module market. Its first product is EuroDDL, a digital delay with external controls of all its parameters.
Soft Saturation, Low Pass Filter, Feedback, Insert Loop and a Boost of + 20dBs are the elements of analog circuitry of the module. In contrast, the strictly digital part is minimalist and simple but functional. Its delay is clear and can reach values as precise as 0.11 ms of feedback. It has functions to loop or reverse.
The converter has a resolution of 24 bits and 192kHz, with delay times of up to 10 seconds. As we lower the sampling frequency we can achieve longer delay times, up to a maximum of 160 seconds at a sampling frequency of 16kHz. The module is designed to be able to control it completely via CV and Trigger to Gate.
EuroDDL derives from the design of the DDL-500, 500 Series module and will be available in January 2018 for a suggested retail price of $399.
