Antelope Audio, manufacturer of high-end professional audio equipment, announces the incorporation of four new vintage compressors (BA-6A, FET-A78, SMT-100A and Grove Hill Liverpool) to its software library FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) hardware-based, which allows users of its Thunderbolt™ and HDX audio interfaces to access vintage hardware modeling in real time without relying on DSP in native processing.
BA-6A is inspired by a vintage 50s amplifier, generates three types of amplification including a moderate drive, hard knee compression, fast attack and medium release.
FET-A78 processes instruments individually and flexibly, an extremely versatile compressor even for buses or mixing groups.
SMT-100A is a classic of the 80s. Its fast attack makes it suitable for voices, drums and basses. Antelope Audio has worked on the preservation of the special sound of the original model with its soft valvular touch.
Grove Hill Liverpool is a contemporary fusion of the best British and American compression technologies that seeks a fresh and familiar sound. A compressor that brings vintage sound but very clearly.
